Rudi has been a dietitian for 35 years. He graduated from Sydney University with a Science degree and a post graduate diploma in Human Nutrition. For the past 29 years he has been part of the Public Health Nutrition team working from Gosford Hospital in NSW.
In this time Rudi has helped aged care by providing them with practical food and nutrition information with the main emphasis on malnutrition prevention. He has co-written “Eating Well. A Nutrition Resource for Older People and their Carers” which provides older people and their carers with a practical ideas to improve nutritional intake.
Rudi Co Wrote the “Best Practice Food and Nutrition Manual for Aged Care Facilities”
The manual provides practical advice and best practice examples to help aged care facilities across Australia improve resident mealtime enjoyment and prevent malnutrition or weight loss.
The manual has been downloaded over 35,000 times since its digital release in 2015 and hard copies are now available across Australia in the last 2 years.
